Action from Rātu (Tuesday)

Mayor Ray Wallace met with our school Leaders to discuss moral courage and leadership
We also used conferenced in groups to show we were tickled pink with each other's writing, and also highlighted some green areas for growth:
We also welcomed back Gerryn who continued to teach is Ki-o-Rahi
And Kaelin found a stick insect!

Maori Language Week II

Maori Language week has already been packed with activities exploring our Reo!
Jason came and showed us a game called Takahia:

And today we had Jen and Jolie talk to us about Pre-European Maori, they shared a few items that were used in daily life in Whanganui-a-Tara two hundred years ago...

Māori language week

This morning we were lucky to have Whaea Gabrielle and Matua Max come and work with us, we learnt He Honore and another action activity that required too much coordination for Mr T... A clip of the class will be up later this week.
