Kākāpō Camp 2014 Notice #3
Kia ora camp 2014 parents and whānau,
This is a brief notice to inform you of
three things...
Chocolates
Thanks to all those who have been able to
sell chocolates over the past few weeks, especially to those who have already
returned their money! All money or returned chocolates are now due in. We still
have a few chocolates left – if you are able to sell them please speak to
Chris, Angela or Charissa. Remember, if you are able to sell three boxes (or
more!), the $24 profit will go directly to your own child’s personal
contribution.
Disco –
Thank you to all those who volunteered
their time to assist with the running of the disco – over $900 was raised and
everyone had a good time! A huge THANKS to Angela and Charissa for organising
the evening.
Adult Volunteers for Camp
We need 5 adults to join us on camp. If
you would like to volunteer your time to join us on camp, please indicate such
on the form below. All adults will need to be able to rely on little sleep,
have the patience of a... teacher, be physically fit to traverse the Abel
Tasman, have a sense of humour and be an allround problem solver! All suitable
volunteers will be police vetted and if there are more candidates than spaces
we will place names in a ballot. We will inform all volunteers of each step and
inform all parents of the final decision in due course.
