Fun Friday festivale!
On Friday our school council surprised everyone with a range of fun activities at lunchtime.
There was a disco in kotuku, a tapping competition in kereru, one treasure hunt outside and one in the library, and some playdough creations in Tūī.
It was awesome! Great work school councillors!
Here is Emma and Marie letting people know what to do!
(And everyone listening with excitement.)

A busy night of meetings at SHP!
We had a number of meeting this evening - the first was with last years school leavers. We asked them lots of questions about the transition from SHP to college.
Thanks team! Your words will help us teach our future students better!
Our second meeting was our camp sharing meeting! It was great to see our whānau interacting in class.

Thanks Mrs Sams
Today we thanked Mrs Sams for the great job she has done in Kakapo for the last two weeks.
The sewing, Art and Maths games were definite highlights!!
Mrs Sams was busy sewing when Marie presented her with the class card & everyone sung "Happy"
( A special extra "Thanks!" for working so much 'overtime'
Including today your 'half day' when you're sewing & finishing work into the afternoon!!)

Here are some of our fine young french speaking students introducing themselves to one another. The audio wasn't quite good enough on some of the videos - that is why some students are missing!
